Quarterfinal knockout stage
With the quarterfinals coming up, every match looks really good to watch. first day we have Bayern vs Man United, with Van Persie out, Man United have actually look pretty decent on the field with Kagawa and Mata playing together seems like Man United have a more fluent attack, Bayern on the other hand have been just a locomotive all season, no one has stopped/challenged them yet, at the most I give 20% chance for Man United to win. The other match Barca vs Atletico, looks very intriguing, with a young squad and hunger for european glory, I dont think Atletico could win but I give them 40% chance to win. Then the next day we got PSG vs Chelsea, PSG's recently all star center back Thiago is injured, thats a major blow to PSG, this is a really good match up, you got the experience Chelsea vs the young and hungry PSG team. I think this is 50/50 anyone can say whos going to win with legit reasons. Lastly we got last years rematch Real Madrid vs Dortmund. Dortmunds season has been really a disaster in the Bundesliga, but in Champions league they have been looking pretty decent but not as electric like last yr. Real Madrid in my eyes has been the best team in La Liga without question but has stumbled recently. I think Real Madrid is about 60% favourites to win this one, Dortmund has some injuries but they got some guys that can cause trouble, should be a good one as well
Predictions
Man United vs Bayern - 2-0 for Bayern
Barca vs Atletico- 2-1 for Barca
PSG vs Chelsea - 1-1
Real Madrid vs Dortmund - 2-1 for Real Madrid

Standings after Round 16 Knockout stages
Well, the following teams have advance to the quarterfinals Bayern, Barca, Real Madrid, Atletico, Chelsea, PSG, Dortmund and Manchester United, I think overall if you look European soccer these are the top 8 teams in Europe overall, some would debate of Manchster United and Dortmund in there but it is what it is. For me the best series to watch for entertainment was Man United vs Olympiakos, ok so some of you are saying " ya of course you would say that because your a Man United fan", but cmon, down 2-0 and come back like the style they did, not to mention Antiono Valencia played with one eye during the whole game, what a warrior, had to be the best, other than that series, I would say Bayern vs Arsenal was a really good one to watch as well, the Barca and City one was pretty good too. Just a quick note, Curt got no POINTS in the 2nd leg of the knockout stage but still has a huge lead " so there is a chance for him not to win?" to answer that, yes. Anyways here are the standings so far

Curt - 76

Knockout stage March 18/19 Preview
So in after last weeks results we the following people are out, Mike, Sid and Knox, all there teams have been eliminated from the competition. Most of these games are pretty much done that are coming up, we got Chelsea vs Galatasray which looks like should be an amazing game like last time, Real Madrid will cruise to the next stage (most likely), then we come to Wednesday games, Dortmund is going to go through, Zenit isnt just good enough and there defence is horrific. We then have my team Manchester United vs Olympiacos, what can I say after that thrashing aganist Liverpool, I really hope they can crush Olympiacos, I am doubtful this will happen though, but I give 25% chance for Man U to pull this off, I hope they start an attacking line up but doubtful, anyways here are my predictions
Chelsea vs Galatasray - 2-1 for Chelsea
Real Madrid vs Schalke - 3-1 for Real Madrid
Manchester United vs Olympiacos - 2-1 for Man United
Dortmund vs Zenit - 3-0 for Dortmund
Chelsea vs Galatasray - 2-1 for Chelsea
Real Madrid vs Schalke - 3-1 for Real Madrid
Manchester United vs Olympiacos - 2-1 for Man United
Dortmund vs Zenit - 3-0 for Dortmund

Knockout stages, March 12-13
Well it looks like Arsenal could possibly be knocked tommorow as well Man City, here. PSG looks like they are crusing in the fast lane. I think this week all the games are pretty straight forward, I dont see Leverkusen making some kind of comeback as well with the other teams such as Arsenal, Man City. AC Milan is the only team I could see but I am doubtful they can progress, they just dont have the quality
Predictions;
Bayern vs Arsenal - 2-0 for Bayern
Atletico vs Milan - 2-0 for Atletico
Barca vs City - 3-1 for Barca
PSG vs Leverkusen - 3-0 for PSG
Predictions;
Bayern vs Arsenal - 2-0 for Bayern
Atletico vs Milan - 2-0 for Atletico
Barca vs City - 3-1 for Barca
PSG vs Leverkusen - 3-0 for PSG
